The carbon fiber precision rifle that’s light enough to hunt with. Weighing in at just 7.4 lbs with a 22″ barrel length that strikes a balance between maneuverability and ballistic performance, this is a serious contender for being one of the best bolt action rifles I’ve had the pleasure of using. I carried this on my back through sections of the Pacific Crest Trail during the fall hunt with ease.
Now I know there’s a caliber war going on in the firearm community which I have no loyalty to either way. The 6.5 Creedmoor does what I need it to. It goes bang and puts holes in things with precision. There’s plenty of space in the world for all calibers except the .380 ACP.

I’ve read the negative reviews, as I’m sure many of you have if you’re reading this now. I can honestly say that I have experienced nothing negative with my rifle. We now have 2 of these in my family with my brother acquiring the 2nd generation that’s made with forged carbon fiber. It’s a real work of art and he loves it.
My loadout for this rifle consists of:
- Trijicon AccuPoint TR23-2G 5-20 x 50 scope
- Seekins Precision scope rings
- Hoptic 2 round bullet quiver
- Vickers Tactical padded sling
- Fortis MFG Carbon Fiber AR Grip
- A cheap bi-pod that I don’t actually keep on the rifle unless I’m stationary.
With this setup, I can maintain a sub-MOA group with ease.
